Long Form CV (PDF)
Alexander Evans
MIT graduate student in Planetary Sciences
I'm a second year graduate student working torwards a PhD in Planetary Science/Geophysics at the Department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary
Sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. My interests primarily focus on understanding the development of the terrestrial planets in terms of the geophysical evolution and the evolution of Earth's biosphere. Currently, my research is focused on investigating microbial communities that form conical structures as a means to better understand the formation of conical stromatolites.
Past research projects include geodynamical modeling of the Martian lithosphere to constrain the amount of erosion within Arabia Terra, Mars. Cordially,
